New meeting of the Erasmus+ project DIFREE: Digital Freelancing for Higher Education students and Recent Graduates in Milan on 3rd and 4th of May 2023, at the CRS Laghi Research Centre (Centro Ricerche e Studi – Milan)

The 3rd meeting of the Consortium of the Erasmus+ Difree project “Digital Freelancing for Higher Education students and Recent Graduates” took place at the CRS Laghi research centre (Milan) on 3rd and 4th of May. Its main objective is the development of tools that allow self-assessing the degree of knowledge and skills related to the possibility of developing a professional career as a Digital Freelancer.

Among the participating Institutions and Universities were the University of Cadiz, CRS Lagui (Italy), Universitá degli studi della Tuscia (Viterbo, Italy) – project coordinators, Panteio Panepistimio Koinononikon Kaipolitikon Epistimon, (Athens- Greece) and the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (Portugal).

 

 

In the working agenda of the meeting, among others, a toolkit called “How to become an online freelancer” was presented and validated by the attending members of the Consortium, presenting the content of an e-book, which will be offered to future FreeLancers, whose content includes the main aspects of relevance for those students, graduates or professionals who wish to start this process. It will be translated into all the languages of the consortium.

Likewise, during the meeting, the advances in the development of the repository of e-portfolio models and specific digital CV’s that could be interesting for this professional sector at an international or national level in the countries that are members of the consortium were presented.

Likewise, Professor María Vélez (UCA) presented to the consortium the model tool that is in the process of being created and for which our University is responsible, (being the professor coordinator at the UCA of this project Jose Manuel Sánchez Vázquez, General Director of 3E (Entrepreneurship, Enterprise and Graduates).

 

 

Other issues such as quality management, financial management of the project and dissemination activities to be carried out during the life of the project were also discussed.

The next general meeting will take place at the UCA in November 2023.
