UCA is Solidarity

UCA is Solidarity

UCA is Solidarity: Volunteering / Psychopedagogical Service / Collaboration with NGOs/

The University of Cádiz is a socially responsible, environmentally aware institution, conscious of the fact that a better, fairer world is possible and that, to achieve that objective, we all must all strive to transmit the principles of tolerance, respect, and equality.

At the UCA we educate in solidarity. We invite you to sign up to our School of Solidarity, where we provide basic training in the principles of equality, solidarity, peace culture, tolerance, social responsibility, and collective awareness.

Each year, the University of Cádiz implements a programme of training and awareness-raising activities (conferences, workshops, seminars, etc.) to promote interculturality, cooperation for development, humanitarian action, the fight against poverty, social inclusion, human rights, and gender equality among the university community.

Why not become a volunteer? It’s a great opportunity for personal development. Each year, over 400 UCA students take part in our Volunteering Plan, generously dedicating time and attention to more than sixty Cádiz-based social organisations engaged in different sectors: child care, family, health, women, social exclusion, immigration, disability, humanitarian action, the Roma people, fair trade, the elderly, and drug addiction.
