UCA is Nature and Environment: Natural parks / Beaches / Mountain and coast

The University of Cádiz tops the sustainability ranking of Spanish universities. It was one of the first universities in the country to include degrees in Environmental Sciences in its academic programme, to create a Sustainability Office and to launch an environmental mobility plan.

The UCA is a promoter institution committed to and fully aligned with the objectives of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. We have implemented an Environmental Management System in all our activities and processes and created a guide to small, everyday acts that can reduce our environmental footprint.

Everyone has a part to play, so to complete our students’ environmental training, sensitise the university community and raise environmental awareness in all areas of activity, we have also launched a Sustainability Promotion Plan featuring workshops, seminars, conferences, exhibitions, etc.

Come and be an active part of this commitment. Take the plunge and join our environmental volunteer programme.
