The ERASMUS+ DIG4LIFE project, involving UCA, celebrates its 5th transnational meeting and its 2nd Multiplier Event in Maribor (Slovenia) 21 October 2022
UCA researchers working on the Erasmus+ DIG4LIFE project: DIGital for LIteracy and Future Education (2020-1-IT02-KA201-079420) attended the 5th Transnational Meeting and 2nd Multiplier Event of the project on October 20 and 21, 2022, both held at the Academia Higher Education Colleges, Maribor (Slovenia). This project involves partners from 7 different institutions from 6 European countries, being Universita Degli Studi Roma Tre (Italy) the project coordinator and the partners: Universidad de Cadiz (Spain), Academia Druzba Za Storitve Doo (Slovenia), FH Joanneum Gesellschaft MBH (Austria), Klaipedos Universitetas (Lithuania), Entropy Knowledge Network S.R.L. (Italy) and Laurea-Ammattikorkeakoulu Oy (Finland).
The DIG4LIFE project, local coordinated at the UCA by Mercedes Ruiz Carreira, is included in the “Erasmus + KA 201 – Strategic Partnership in Higher Education” action and aims to exchange best practices in teaching and assessment of digital competencies by developing and experimenting with gamification tools and serious games. This meeting was attended by Elena Otra and Nuria Hurtado from the Computer Engineering department, Nieves Gómez from the Economics department, as well as Mariló Gómez, Erasmus+ International Projects technician assigned to this Erasmus project.
In this fifth meeting, all the attending partners have presented the results of the project achieved to date, as well as established the basis for carrying out the last phases of the project consisting of experimentation with the tools developed and the analysis of the results. At the same time, preparations were also started for the organization of the third multiplier event and final conference of the project which is scheduled to be held at the University of Klaipeda (Lithuania) in February 2023.
