Second session of the Blended Short-cycle Training Courses on Commons Practices in the framework of the Erasmus+ ComPra 7 July 2023

Second session of the Blended Short-cycle Training Courses on Commons Practices in the framework of the Erasmus+ ComPra

Between the 27th and 31st of March, four students from the University of Cadiz, together with the teaching staff, have participated in the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon in the classroom component of the second edition of the blended learning course on commons practices developed within the framework of the Erasmus KA203 project.

The event was attended by representatives of the 5 universities of the consortium: University of Thessaly (Greece), Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon (Portugal), Pompeu Fabra University (Spain), and TalTech University of Tallinn (Estonia), as well as the University of Cadiz.

Throughout the 5 days of practical training in Lisbon, the work revolved around the main themes of commons practices, seen from sociological, communication and technological perspectives. The course participants had the opportunity to get a first-hand experience of the functioning of local organisations involved in the promotion of peer-to-peer education, active participation, peer-to-peer and collective knowledge creation.

According to the students who took part in this edition of the course, the cultural visits organised by the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon provided them with valuable experiences regardless of their varied educational and professional profiles, as together with the theoretical component of the course they allowed them to reflect on different ways of creating a fairer and more inclusive society, as well as to improve their English language skills, which was the official language of the course.
