The Vice-Rector for Internationalisation of the University of Cadiz, Rafael Jiménez Castañeda, has inaugurated a basic introductory course in Japanese at the Jerez Campus. He was accompanied at the event by the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication, José Antonio López, the Director General of Language Policy, Javier de Cos, and Professor Tomoko Kimura.

This is an activity organised by the Centro Superior de Lenguas Modernas (CSLM), with which the University of Cadiz initiates a strategy of approaching the language and culture of Japan, after the institutional trip recently made by the rector and part of the Internationalisation team to Japanese universities.
