The University of Cadiz hosts the third transnational meeting of the Dig4Life project

La tercera reunión transnacional del proyecto Dig4Life tuvo lugar el 27 de septiembre de 2021 en Cádiz (España). La reunión fue organizada por el equipo de profesores de la Universidad de Cádiz como un evento híbrido, lo que permitió a los socios asistir de forma física o virtual, ya que aún quedan algunas restricciones para viajar debido a la pandemia de COVID-19. Cabe destacar que tras un año de ejecución, esta es la primera reunión celebrada de manera presencial de este proyecto.

El lugar de la reunión fue la sala de juntas de la Escuela Superior de Ingeniería de la Universidad de Cádiz, situada en el Campus de Puerto Real. Los asistentes online pudieron participar en la reunión utilizando Google Meet. Todos los asistentes tanto presenciales como online interactuaron a través de esta plataforma para asegurar la completa participación de todos los asistentes. Durante la reunión se aplicaron las medidas de seguridad sanitaria vigentes en The third transnational meeting of the Dig4Life project took place on September 27, 2021, in Cádiz (Spain). The meeting was organized by the UCA partner as a hybrid event, allowing the partners to attend either physically or virtually as some restrictions to travel still remained due to the pandemic of COVID-19. It should be noted that after a year of implementation, this is the first meeting of this project held in person.

The venue of the meeting was the boardroom of the School of Engineering of the University of Cadiz, located in the Campus of Puerto Real. The online attendees could participate in the meeting by using Google Meet. All the attendees were connected to the online meeting room, so that the online attendees could follow their interventions. During the meeting, the health security measures in force in Spain in relation to the prevention of the spread of the COVID 19 pandemic were applied. The total number of participants involved was 20: 16 physical and 4 online participants.

After a word of welcome to Spain and to the University of Cadiz by the Vice-Rector of Internationalization, Rafael Jiménez Castañeda, and the Spanish local coordinator, Mercedes Ruiz Carreira, the meeting started at 9:00 according to the following agenda:

The morning agenda was devoted to presenting the final results of IO1 and to present and discuss the progress and future plans for the remaining on-going IOs. Additionally, the partners in charge of the project management and the coordination of the dissemination activities presented up-to-date and useful information to coordinate the partners’ tasks in these matters. After the lunch break, the attendees participated in a hands-on session run by the Entropy partner with the aim of deepening their knowledge on the Italian storyboard of the Dig4Life serious game and the method to follow for the co-design of such serious game.

The meeting went as expected, all items were sufficiently explained and discussed, and there were no changes to the agenda.

After the meeting, the UCA partner organized a guided city tour of Cádiz for the physical participants and they ended the day having dinner together in a typical restaurant in the city center.
