A Step Forward in International Cooperation: The WIDI App to Innovate Report Generation 2 November 2023

A Step Forward in International Cooperation: The WIDI App to Innovate Report Generation

A significant achievement has recently been made in the management of international cooperation projects. Within the WIDI application, a new function has been implemented, allowing participants in projects to directly and automatically generate participation reports for International Cooperation Projects managed by the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalization, complete with the UCA’s institutional signature. This improvement equates international cooperation projects with research projects.

This will represent a substantial change, as from now on, it will no longer be necessary to request reports via the usual channel (cau). Instead, reports will be automatically generated through WIDI, similarly to research projects. A screenshot and instructions for generating these reports are provided.

Upon opening the application, one should navigate to ‘Accreditation Reports’, found in the last item of the left menu. Then, select option 4.1. International Cooperation Projects. Upon clicking ‘consult data‘, a list of projects in which one is involved will appear. One simply needs to click on the project(s) for which the report is desired.

This new functionality, implemented with the support of CITI, will be highly beneficial.
