General Description:

The main theme of the project is access to justice for people in vulnerable conditions. Teaching, research and dissemination activities will be carried out on the subject within the two universities involved, but with international projection.

Objetives
Key objectives:
  • Disseminate EU standards on persons in vulnerable conditions, access to justice and ADR/MASC, training students, researchers and professionals.
  • Raise awareness among university students, researchers and professionals about the existence of people in vulnerable conditions and difficulties in accessing justice to defend their rights.
  • Promote research on access to justice for vulnerable people and EU regulations and their transfer to Colombian law. The UCO’s research groups, graduate and postgraduate projects, legal clinics, etc., will be used.
Others:
  • Contribute to the internationalisation of teaching and research activities on the subject, taking EU law as a reference.
  • Test the applicability to reality of EU rules and principles on ADR and PV, with the legal clinics of the two universities.
