SEA-EU DOC: Beyond Academia

SEA-EU DOC: Beyond Academia

Descripción General:

Due to the growing deficit of permanent positions in the academic sector in Europe and the growing job insecurity in this sector, more and more doctors are looking for a job outside academia. Preparing the students for a broad range of career options matching the reality of the labour market falls on the responsibility of universities. In this context, and on the basis of the existing alliance “European University of the Seas (SEA-EU)”, the SEA-EU DOC project arises as an Erasmus + consortium of six higher education institutions: UBO (Brest), CAU (Kiel), UCA (Cádiz), UG (Gdansk), UNIST (Split) and UM (Malta), with the aim of broadening the employment opportunities of doctorate holders in marine sciences.
