Erasmus+ 2024 action types projects. Capacity Building in Higher Education

In the call for Capacity Building projects in Higher Education, the European Commission offers the possibility to participate in three different types of projects:

  • Chapter 1 – Fostering access to higher education cooperation. Designed to attract less experienced higher education institutions and small-scale actors in order to facilitate access for new entrant organisations.
  • Chapter 2 – Partnerships for transformation in higher education. Designed to introduce new approaches and initiatives in higher education, based on peer learning and the transfer of experience and good practice, affecting not only institutions but also society at large.
  • Chapter 3 – Structural reform projects. They will support initiatives in third countries not associated to the Erasmus+ Programme to develop coherent and sustainable higher education systems that meet their socio-economic needs and the wider ambition of creating a knowledge economy.
