UCA Participates in the General Assembly of the Euro-Mediterranean University Network (Téthys)

On July 4th and 5th, the Ibn Jazzar Faculty of Medicine at the University of Sousse, in Tunisia, hosted the General Assembly of this network, featuring specific training and Erasmus+ workshops. These events were organized in collaboration with the Téthys network, the University of Aix Marseille, and the National Erasmus+ Office in Tunisia.

Representing UCA were Javier Izquierdo Antón, Director of the Secretariat for Projects and International Networks, and Mariló Gómez Domínguez, Project Technician from the Office of Internationalization.

The training mainly focused on presenting the Erasmus+ program for the 2021-2027 period. Simultaneously, three workshops were organized in subgroups, addressing different Erasmus+ calls. These workshops were led by representatives from the Erasmus+ Office and the University of Aix Marseille.

Workshop 1: Discover mobility in all its forms: physical, virtual, and hybrid.

Workshop 2: Collaborate within the framework of a double or multi-degree.

Workshop 3: Cooperate through capacity-building action (the well-known “Capacity Building” projects).

Interesting personal contacts were established with representatives from different universities belonging to this network for possible and future collaborations in joint project proposals within the Erasmus+ program.
