Training sessions MEP&M (Development of Regional Joint Master Programme in Maritime Environmental Protection and Management)

On 29 and 30 June 2023, training sessions took place within the framework of the Capacity Building MEP&M (Development of Regional Joint Master Programme in Maritime Environmental Protection and Management) project. Specifically related to the activity “Transfer of know-how to technical staff in relation to the use of distance learning support equipment” (WP3 – DEV 3.2) and “Transfer of know-how in relation to organisational and procedural aspects of the development of online and blended learning courses as well as innovative teaching and learning methods using e-learning techniques” which took place at the University of Aleksandër Moisiu, Durres, Albania.

Dr. Alfredo Fernández Enríquez prepared a lecture on distance learning, online technologies and their applications at the University of Cadiz.

Bilateral meetings were held between UCA and representatives of the Albanian Universities of Aleksandër Moisiu.

At the Project Management Board (PMB) meeting on 30 June, several issues were discussed; focusing on the extension of the project by one year, as the accreditation procedures in Montenegro and Albania will not be completed in time for the joint master programme to start in October 2023. A plan of activities for the extended year was adopted and will be submitted to EACEA for approval.

EU partner universities will provide Montenegrin and Albanian universities with knowledge transfer related to organisational and procedural aspects of developing e-learning or blended learning courses, as well as innovative teaching and learning methods using e-learning techniques (a part of the equipment used for e-learning).
