PROYECTO MEP&M.  KNOW-HOW TRANSFER RELATED TO THE TO THE LATEST TOPICS IN INTERNATIONAL LAWS ON CLIMATE CHANGE AND MARINE POLLUTION (DEV.3.4.3)

Within the projectDevelopment of Regional Joint Master Program in Maritime Environmental Protection and Management” MEP&M, the training session (DEV.3.4.3) was held by professors from the University of Cadiz (Spain). This training session was held from 9:30 to 17:00 on 11th of March and was very well received, with 28 online participants.

The professors in charge of the training were: Dr. Ruth García-Llave, Dr. Jorge Walliser, Dr. Emilio Rodríguez-Díaz and Dr. Javier García Sanabria. The topics of the sessions were as follows: International law on marine pollution from ships: the MARPOL Convention and the Ballast Water Memorandum; Prevention of Marine Pollution & Compensation of Marine Pollution and Towards a more sustainable marine management: from sectoral planning to marine spatial planning.
