[LifeAge] – Promoting the shift sedentary Lifestyle towards active Ageing

General Description: Promoting the shift sedentary Lifestyle towards active Ageing” – `LifeAge´ is an Erasmus + Sport project in which  will participate sports physical educators, nutritionists, doctors and professionals in audiovisual communication from the Catholic university of Murcia and University of Cádiz (Spain), Foro Italico (Italy), Lapin (Finland), Latvia (Latvia) and Limerick (Ireland). Its main objective is to assess the health consequences of aging and a sedentary lifestyle in the European population and, through various actions that will be developed in different countries, educate and promote physical activity, exercise and other healthy habits in people over 50.

Objectives The main objective of the project is to assess the health consequences of aging and the sedentary lifestyle of the European population, and to promote active lifestyles as a key tool for an active and healthy old age. In addition, in a manner consistent with the Erasmus + Sport program, volunteer activities in sport will be promoted, as well as social inclusion, equal opportunities, and awareness of the importance of health promoting physical activity through greater participation and equal access, to the practice of exercises for all.
