✅ Correct Nomination Requirements:
⚠️ Important Information for Candidates:
All nominated and reserve candidates must obtain prior acceptance for an activity included in the relevant UCA catalogue:
The activity catalogues may be updated throughout the academic year. Further nomination rounds may be opened as new teaching or training activities become available, subject to the remaining funding for each region. Partner universities will be informed of any additional rounds and their deadlines.
How does the process work?
1. Obtain prior acceptance for a UCA activity
Before submitting an application to their sending institution, interested staff should:
- Review the activity description and check that their profile meets its requirements.
- Contact the relevant UCA activity coordinator, attaching their CV.
- If accepted, arrange for the Mobility Agreement to be signed by the participant, the sending institution and the UCA activity coordinator.
- Submit the fully signed Mobility Agreement to their sending institution as part of its internal selection process.
A fully signed Mobility Agreement is required for every nominated and reserve candidate.
Acceptance by an activity coordinator and a signed Mobility Agreement do not guarantee final selection or an Erasmus+ grant. Final selection also depends on the sending institution’s selection process, the capacity of the UCA activity and the available regional funding.
2. Complete the sending institution’s internal selection process
Partner universities must publish and disseminate an internal call with clear selection criteria and conduct a transparent selection process ensuring equal opportunities.
Internal deadlines should allow sufficient time for candidates to obtain their signed Mobility Agreements and for the institution to submit complete nominations to UCA.
3. Submit nominations to UCA
Only partner universities may submit nominations. Please send the following documentation to staff.icm@uca.es:
- Selection/Nomination Letter — Annex III: a signed and stamped PDF, accompanied by the corresponding Excel file, including nominated and reserve candidates, their email addresses, scores, selection criteria and selection committee details.
- Mobility Agreements — Annex II: fully signed by all three parties for every nominated and reserve candidate.
- Evidence of a transparent selection process, such as the published internal call and selection results.
- Declaration of absence of conflicts of interest — Annex IV.
Please submit teaching (STA) and training (STT) nominations separately, using the appropriate templates.
First-round nomination deadline: 9 December 2026.
4. UCA selection and participant registration
UCA will review the nominations and publish a provisional list. Partner universities will have 10 calendar days to correct their submissions before the final list of selected participants is published.
Following final selection, successful candidates will receive instructions and a link to complete their online registration.
Selected participants must contact staff.icm@uca.es at least 90 days before the start of their mobility to initiate the admission process.
Important information about available grants
Mobility grants are allocated by region and are shared among eligible partner universities within that region. There is no fixed allocation of grants to each university.
The number of funded mobilities is limited. A nomination or acceptance for an activity does not guarantee funding.
Further nomination rounds will depend on the publication of new activities and the remaining regional budget.
Financial support
The standard grant consists of €1,190 in individual support, covering five activity days and two travel days at €170 per day, plus a travel contribution calculated according to the applicable Erasmus+ distance band.
Specific provisions for eligible green travel are detailed in the call.
The grant is a contribution towards mobility costs and may not cover all expenses. It is paid in a single instalment after arrival, so participants must cover their initial travel and living expenses.
