One of our Erasmus students, Kpantioron Abel Kone, presented her doctoral thesis entitled “Women’s Issues in African Postcolonial Migrant Fiction“, where he critically analysed works by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Amma Darko and Chika Unigwe.
The defence of the thesis took place last Friday 7 June at Campus 2 of the Alassane Ouattara University in Bouaké, Côte d’Ivoire.
This study delves into the representation of female themes in post-colonial African literature, highlighting the importance of female voices in migrant narratives. The Erasmus student has demonstrated a deep commitment to exploring cultural diversity and gender equality through literature. A remarkable achievement that undoubtedly enriches the academic field and promotes reflection on crucial issues in today’s society!
