Food Biotechnology Bachelor 4 hours * English Second semester (from March to May) The main objective of this subject is to know those biotechnological processes involved in food production, as well as, to be able to organise and plan these processes and to know the effect thay they will have in their compositions, characteristics, and sensory profile. In addition, the most common food preservation treatments and the development of functional foods with health-promoting properties will be also covered through out the course. NANOSCOPY OF MATERIALS** Master 8 hours English Second Semester Acquire a specialization in the field of Materials Nanoscience and Technology from a practical point of view, especially linked to the characterization of materials by electron microscopy. The objective is that the student who takes the course can operate at a basic level in an Electron Microscope and also interpret the results obtained at a basic level.
