On 19 and 20 July 2021 the UCA hosted the “Gender and Law in Practice and Education International Congress”. The congress, held in virtual format, was the second “Multiplier Event” of the LAWGEM project.

The organisation of the meeting has been a success and has counted with top international speakers. More than a hundred participants attended the talks during the two days.

Since September 2019 the University of Cadiz is part of the consortium working on the project New Quality in Education for Gender Equality – Strategic Partnership for the Development of Master’s Study Program LAW AND GENDER (LAWGEM), funded by the Erasmus+ programme.

The UCA participates in the project with a multidisciplinary team, led by Professor María Isabel Ribes Moreno.

The consortium members working on the project are: University of Belgrade (Serbia), as coordinator; University of Cadiz; Universitat des Saarlandes (Germany); Orebro University (Sweden) and Libera Universita Maria SS. Assunta di Roma (Italy).
