• Target Academic Disciplines: Applied Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Applied Social Sciences, Urban and Spatial Planning, Business Administration, Traffic and Logistics, cross-disciplinary areas and related fields.

Applicants are encouraged to propose courses that complement and enrich the existing curriculum at FHE and provide students with an international academic perspective.

• Course Format:

The courses will be taught in English and should comprise approximately 22-26 teaching hours per semester. Depending on the course content, workload, assignments, and overall academic intensity, students may receive 3-6 ECTS credits.

• Available Teaching Formats:

– Online teaching, either with a regular schedule throughout the semester or as a block course for 2 or 3 days.

– On-site intensive teaching at FHE, preferably concentrated into approx. 2-3 days. For on-site courses, we will provide a lump-sum travel allowance to cover the lecturer’s travel expenses. However, please note we can provide such a lump-sum payment only to a limited number of lecturers on a “first come, first served” basis.

• Teaching Honorarium: Between €40 and €50 per teaching hour depending on the lecturer’s seniority.

• Application Documents: Interested academics are asked to submit the following documents:

• Application Deadlines:

– For courses offered in the summer semester 2027, applications must be submitted by 31/10/2026.

– For courses offered in the winter semester 2027/28, applications must be submitted by 31/01/2027.

Please note: All teaching for courses offered in the winter semester 2027/28 must be completed by 30/11/2027.
