Activities related to the teaching and learning of sciences outdoors: Use of the ecological garden in the initial teacher training PhD (Doctorado) 8 Spanish from November to January Teaching of the natural environment: This is a subject focused on contributing to the didactic and scientific training of future early childhood education teachers. The ecological garden is used as the main resource around a topic of interest such as the water cycle. Various strategies are integrated, such as model-based inquiry, the raising of socio-scientific controversies, card games and analogies such as the black box.
