Deadline extended to 15 February 2021
for research starting in 2021
We offer Research Fellowships to Europeans and Japanese postgraduates who want to carry out research in Japan and Europe respectively.
As a result of COVID-19, the original deadline of 15 September 2020 has been extended to 15 February 2021 for applications starting from September 2021 to December 2022.

Japan-Africa Exchange Program
The deadline for the Japan-Africa Exchange Program with Kyoto University is also extended to 15 February 2021 for applications between 1 April 2021 and 31 March 2022. Co-Sponsored Research Fellowships
The deadline for the Co-Sponsored Research Fellowship Programme with the European University Institute in Italy remains 18 October 2020. Interested candidates should apply for the Max Weber programme following instructions on the EUI website.
