Erasmus+ KA131 Incoming

Mobility of students for studies under the Erasmus+ Programme to stay at the University of Cádiz for 1 or 2 semesters.

 

In order to apply, please contact the office that manages the Erasmus Program at your home University and follow the instructions provided.

Once you have been nominated by your home University, you will receive and e-mail with a link to our online application form and the instructions.
The application period is divided into two different phases. 1.- Administrative Phase (Online Application form) 2.- Academic Phase (Online Learning Agreement OLA)
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please DO NOT fill out your OLA until you get your acceptance letter (after phase 1) as it contains important information to be used when filling out your OLA
Step 1) Administrative Phase

Commitment Letter At least B1 level of Spanish at the beginning of the semester: Compromiso B1 Español Compromiso-B1-Español
Commitment Letter to purchase the insurance before the arrival at the Universidad de Cadiz: Commitment Insurance
Deadlines:
– First semester (Autumn Semester): 31st May (the exact date will appear on the link to the online application form)
– Second semester (Spring): Around 31st October (the exact date will appear on the link to the online application form)
Once we have the online applicaton forms, we will send the students an acceptance letter with further instructions
Step 2) Academic Phase ONLINE LEARNING AGREEMENT (OLA)

A) Before your arrival
Before choosing the date of arrival, please read carefully the information provided before
(information for accepted students). Take into account the official dates of the semester,
Spanish Language Courses, start of courses for undergraduate students (different from Master
students), etc… and read carefully the following information

B) Arrival in the Universidad de Cádiz
Please attend any of the registration meetings with staff of the International Office. You do not
need to make an appointment for that. Just attend any of them and please bring with you the
following forms and documents:

Regarding information and registration sessions of the above document, it is only necessary to attend one of the sessions. We recommend to attend a session just after your arrival in the Universidad de Cádiz.

E Student Card The app will only be available once you are enrolled in the Universidad de Cádiz.

Visa Information: If you a student from a country outside the European Union, you will need to get a visa before coming to Spain. Please make sure you follow all the procedures to get the Visa in the Spanish Consulate in your country or region.
1.- Certificate of Departure: Once you have finished your lessons and examinations, you can leave the University of Cádiz but you have to get signed your certificate of attendance. This has to be signed by the internationalization office:
Please bring your certificate of departure to get signed to the Internationalization office located in Campus Cádiz (Plaza Falla nº 8. 11003 Cádiz) or the one in Campus Algeciras.
-Certificate of departure (version of your home University.) If you do not have any, we will give you our own version
The last day of the autum semester is 2nd February 2022 and the last day of spring semester is 2nd July 2024

office of your Faculty or School. In case of problems with that, please contact them at the

Because of the distance between Campus Cadiz and Campus Algeciras, students in Campus
Algeciras can register and follow administration procedures with the coordinator in the School
or Faculty and you do not need to come to Cádiz.
In the Erasmus+ Frame it is possible to have short mobilities for studies and placements.
The mobility is divided into physical mobility (between 5 and 30 days) and a compulsory virtual mobility (just recommended for doctarate/PhD students)
Activities to be carried out
  1. .- Activity at the Universidad de Cádiz with physical and virtual mobility.
  2. .- Admission to a BIP (Blended Intensive Programme)
How to take part in these activities/BIP
The student has to be selected and nominated by the home University as an Erasmus student short mobility (at least 2 months before the beginning of the course) and follow the procedures to be accepted. Once accepted, the student has to follow the regular procedures of admission, registration, etc… as in the regular student mobility (information above)
Additional Documents. The students will be requested to attach:
Online Learning Agreement
The selected students need to fill out the Learning agreement following the instructions of their home Universities.
Undergraduate and Master students have to fill out the OLA: “Blended Mobility with short term Physical Mobility
Doctorate and PhD student have to fill out the OLA “Short Term Doctoral Mobility”.
Activities or BIP to be introduced in the OLA:
A student coming for a BIP, should introduce the code, name and ECTS credit numbers given by the BIP
A student coming for an activity, will introduce the following details:
