RESUMEN DEL PROYECTO

Objective:
Wider Objective: Development and enhancement of lifelong learning in Belarus with effective use of distance learning and Bologna instruments for the development of the regional labour market.
Specific Objectives:
– to develop a Lifelong Learning inter-University cooperation in the regions in Belarus, based on integrating the 6 leading regional Universities in the field of distance learning into an Inter-University Network for Lifelong Learning (ILN);
– to train the Institutes for Continuous Education’s managerial and teaching staff for the Inter-University Network for LLL according to the principles of the Bologna process using the best practices at the European partner Universities;
– to choose specific themes for the 5 new on-line or blended LLL study courses in English, IT, Entrepreneurship, Financial Literacy and Law literacy through meetings with the public, enterprises and local authorities to best suit the needs and demands of the regional communities;
– to design, develop and pilot the 5 new on-line (or blended) Moodle-based LLL study courses to the general public;
The objectives set out for the project correlate with the foreseen results and fully correspond to the National priority for Erasmus+ CBHE projects in Belarus which is “Lifelong Learning and Continuing Education” since the work planned and the results envisaged hit the needs of the regional communities in Belarus that recently has faced a major problem of slow development of the 6 regions. The most active Universities in the 6 regions will respond to the need by establishing the ILN network in Belarus for efficient provision of distance education to respect and provide easy and free access to education to a wider public. The study courses will be approved by the University authorities after the pilot stage and later by the National Accreditation Agency (2 years after launch according to the BY legislation). The LLL students successfully graduated the courses will get certificates with study supplements. This in the long run will enhance better chances of employability of the regions’ population and the development of the labour market and economy in the 6 regions concerned.

Expected results and dissemination:
The project results – study materials, 5 new LLL courses on-line and blended, and the Inter-University Network (ILN) will be the objects of exploitation. A set of means will be used for this purpose: co-teaching by all the partners in EU and BY on the courses; learning reflections, evaluations by staff and students; and training of trainers.
Dissemination will be arranged internally and externally. Internally, after internships and trainings, and launch of the pilot LLL courses BY partners will hold seminars with presentations, discussions, and training to inform and involve other staff. Externally a Dissemination Seminar will be held to inform Regional Authorities and wider public about the project at each BY partner. Project Brochure No. 1 will be published by the Editorial Group.
Several months before the pilot courses are launched, there will be an Information Day for the Regional Authorities (incl. Employment Centres), enterprises, other Universities in the regions, and wider public to enhance visibility of the LLL study courses. Information Leaflet No.1 will be published by the Editorial Group for the both events. The ILN network will make adverts in social media (Facebook, VKontakte, and Odnoklassniki) on their ILN Pages.
In the start of the project RTA will design, develop, and maintain the project web-site, aimed at internal and external audience, where information in BY and ENG languages will be publicised: (1) on the project; (2)partners; (3) main results achieved; (4) news.

At the end of the project, there will be a Final Dissemination Conference in Polotsk. A wide range of participants will be invited (Ministry, partners, other BY Universities, media). Project Brochure No. 2 about the project’s results will be published by the Editorial Group for the Conference. After the follow-up stage Information Leaflet No. 2 for potential LLL students will be published by the Editorial Group. Two leaflets and 2 brochures will also be created for electronic distribution by e-mails and advertising via the Social Media mentioned above.

RESUMEN DEL PROYECTO

Objective: The primary focus of this project is on teacher education and skills development to promote high quality and innovative teaching in the field of Language for Specific Purposes (LSP). European Project TRAILs will explore the situation and needs of teaching LSP to define objectives and implement LSP teacher training programmes made to measure for the specific target. The 7 partners involved will contribute to the design of new programmes that will be offered at European higher education institutions, on a transnational collaborative basis because the problems identified cannot be dealt with on a regional basis only.
Expected results and dissemination:
– An innovative curriculum, applicable throughout the European higher education area, for the training of LSP teachers will be developed.
– LSP teacher training will be linked to the needs of future and current LSP teachers in terms of teaching methodology with particular reference to the use of ICT in classroom and blended learning and teaching.
– A network of language teacher training centres and LSP teachers will be established.
– Each partner will benefit from the other partners in terms of their experience, knowledge, skills, competences, know-how etc.
– Relevant and high-quality skills and competences necessary for quality LSP teaching will be developed and shared.
– LSP teachers will be supported in the use of digital technologies.
– Pedagogies using ICT will be explored and consolidated.
– Teacher trainee employability will be enhanced.
– Teacher trainee and LSP teacher professional self-confidence will be enhanced.
– The attractiveness of LSP teaching will be increased.

A three-stage approach will be adopted by UCA team to identify LSP teacher needs based on LSP teacher interviews and surveys:

-A preliminary version of the guidelines as based on semi-structured interviews and surveys will be prepared and presented to the other partners of the project who will be able to provide feedback. The final version of the guidelines will then be prepared by UCA team.
– The project partners will decide on the countries in which the analysis is to be conducted, and equally distribute the work. Required data will be collected and transferred to UCA team.
– A synthesis of the results will be prepared by UCA team and presented to all project partners.

RESUMEN DEL PROYECTO

Objective: This project will design and disseminate a strategy to achieve the fundamental European goal of redesigning Higher Education, facilitating the application of Bologna principles across Europe. The objective will be pursued through the design of an integrated curriculum where the delivery of academic content is coterminous with, and enhanced by, the acquisition of competences and transversal skills appropriate for the digital age.
For change to happen we need to:
• enhance staff awareness of the changes in the stakeholders’ sensorium and learning styles, engendered by the digital era;
• stimulate teachers’ appetite for an innovative learning environment based on learner-centred pedagogies (holistic, constructivist, connectivist approaches), which can activate students’ learning process through problem-solving, learning-by-doing, gamification, or digital information research;
• demonstrate to teachers that these opportunities can be realized through the application of Higher Order Thinking ICTs;
• provide appropriate and easy to use training material to make this transformative journey possible.

There will be a Multiplier Event: Something ELSE for higher education held in the form of a two-day conference where university lecturers, students and learning technologists but also academic policy makers will be primarily invited to participate. The project will be presented in its conception, pedagogical approach, technological outputs and manuals through plenaries and workshops led by the responsible teams for each output. The simulation environments will be put to trial.
University of Cadiz collaboration (100aprox):
Our role in the Else project is to be the evaluation partner (P7). Thus, we will help to ensure that the project is well managed and that we stay on track in terms of timetable. We will be in charge of the project quality monitoring. At the beginning of the project we will elaborate a quality plan, where the projects’ internal quality assurance processes will be defined. The objectives of the quality plan are to ensure the quality of the consortium’s work and a high level of project results as well as to monitor the general satisfaction of the partners with the project as a whole.

RESUMEN DEL PROYECTO

The objective of the project is double. On the one hand, to strengthen relationships between the participating universities, so that they can share their experiences in actions related to the development of the territory in different areas: in the field of university institutions, in the field of university teaching and in the field of research. Likewise, it is intended to favor the transference of knowledge. On the other hand, to intend that the University, from its teaching and research experience, assume the role of driving force of territorial and sustainable human development of the province of Manabí, through creating one of the different social and institutional agents that are involved in the management of Cultural Heritage (public and private institutions, neighbors, technicians, … ). This implies a “common” space of dialogue and action where research, dissemination and conservation converge. The driving group, the University, establishes collaboration agreements with the different agents involved, in this way creating a project that brings together a cultural heritage hitherto disconnected around what it isnamed the Ecomuseum, which brings together the whole process. With the development of the ecomuseum, a responsible use of heritage resources (of historical, archaeological, ethnographic, landscape value …) is sought to offer cultural services, such as guided tours, educational itineraries or training and research activities. In this way, income will be generated to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of that region, and to maintain the ecomuseumin the future. The ecomuseum is conceived as a social enterprise, in which all profits will be reinvested in the achievement of goals set in the museological plan, including guaranteeing conservation of the heritage and sustainability of the activity that will be being developed.

Expected results and dissemination: Contribution to sustainable human development in the province of Manabí by strengthening the organization, participation and community self-management, through establishing an Ecomuseum centered on the territory of the Canton of Puerto López. Therefore, this ecomuseum is conceived as a participatory space for the protection and socio-economic promotion of the natural and cultural heritage.

UCA Team Collaboration. The proposed strategy to generate the development of a sustainable tourism desired in Ecuador, starts fromthe consideration of the University as an agent of great benefit for the promotion of such change and as an agent of knowledge and research. The University owns a very favorable position to promote new social habits and concepts. Furthermore, regarding its role as an intermediary to the labor market, it has better access to different professional groups (social workers, educators, facilitators …). In this way, the project proposes to create and reinforce lines of research in the ULEAM that allows in turn to empower other social agents.

RESUMEN DEL PROYECTO

Objective: Género, Tecnología e Innovación social es un proyecto de investigación- acción que busca fortalecer las capacidades de las mujeres tunecinas en el uso de las tecnologías y las prácticas comunicativas para que se conviertan en agentes de desarrollo local, adaptando el aprendizaje colaborativo y transformador a las necesidades del contexto. La iniciativa está financiada por la Agencia Andaluza de Cooperación Internacional del Desarrollo (AACID) de la Junta de Andalucía (España), con la participación de la Universidad de Cádiz (UCA), el Aula Universitaria del Estrecho, y la Université de Sfax (US).
El objetivo del proyecto es contribuir a fomentar la igualdad de la mujer en el acceso al conocimiento, a los recursos económicos y al trabajo en Túnez. Se desarrolla en tres fases; una primera en que estudiantes de la Université de Sfax reciben formación transversal sobre Internet y la cultura digital, Innovación social, Software libre y conocimiento abierto, Gestión emocional y empatía en la intervención social, Comunicación online y redes sociales, Economía colaborativa, Emprendimiento, modelos de negocio y financiación, así como el curso de Formadora de formadoras. En una segunda fase, las alumnas a través de la Investigación-Acción Participativa diseñan talleres destinados a la comunidad marroquí, definiendo sus contenidos y la metodología mediante un trabajo en equipo, a través de dinámicas de grupo y el asesoramiento de los coordinadores del proyecto así como del profesorado. Mientras que en la tercera fase del proyecto, las recién tituladas se encargan de impartir talleres destinados a las mujeres de la sociedad civil tunecinas para desarrollar proyectos colaborativos de carácter económico o bien de innovación social. Se fomenta una estrategia de desarrollo endógeno desde un planteamiento innovador, de compromiso social, desde una práctica solidaria y empoderadora y con enfoque de género, a través del uso de la tecnología en función de las necesidades de las personas y de la comunidad, especialmente de las mujeres, entendiendo la creación de redes y el aprendizaje como una forma más de la economía de los cuidados y de los afectos.

Expected results and dissemination: La estrategia del Proyecto busca la ampliación del impacto del proyecto en la transferencia de los conocimientos y habilidades para el desarrollo local comunitario, así como para el cambio social y la innovación, a partir de las destrezas, habilidades y conocimientos sobre las tecnologías y su uso. Se espera un impacto similar al obtenido durante el desarrollo del mismo proyecto en Marruecos (2016/2017) cuyo logro alcanzó el 360%. La difusión del proyecto se realiza en congresos, jornadas y seminarios sobre las temáticas del mismo y sobre la innovación docente. Además, se publican las novedades en la página web de la UCA, del Aula Universitaria del Estrecho y de la Université de Sfax, así como a través de redes sociales. Para el logro de un mayor impacto, el equipo de la UCA, en asociación con la coordinación de la Université de Sfax, trabaja para la consecución de un proyecto Erasmus Capacity Bulding destinado a extender la experiencia a otras universidades tunecinas, tras el interés mostrado por el Ministerio de la Mujer, la Familia y la Infancia.

RESUMEN DEL PROYECTO

Objective: In the world of communication devices flooded with images, the main goal of the project is thepopularization the pleasure and utility of reading, the lingual forms and interpreta-tion of images, andreading as a life experience.

Expected results and dissemination: The regional and national impact of the project would be traced first in the academic education andlater in the high school education, since we train high school teacher. Since we plan to involveeconomic and business fields, especially publishers as external stakeholders into the project from 6countries, our project may have an impact on pub-lishing strategies, as well as strategies onpromoting translation and publication of world litera-ture.

RESUMEN DEL PROYECTO

Objective: The project ScolaMAR aims to provide skilled graduates, adjusted to the needs of the labour market, for the implementation of Smart coastal management and Sustainable blue growth, therefore increasing employability of Morocco graduates and responding to the challenges posed by the implementation of the 2015 Coastal Act.
Expected results and dissemination: To reach its objectives, the ScolaMAR strategy is to develop an innovative specialized Master program based on the integration of the multidisciplinary dimension of Marine and Coastal Sciences and to train Moroccan trainers in order to reinforce their ability to transfer knowledge to students. The specialized Master degree to be developed will have 6 specializations distributed amongst the Moroccan universities. The future graduates from this Innovative Master program covering all the fundamental aspects of ICZM will be able to actively participate in the sustainable development of their society and global sustainable blue growth on the long-term.

RESUMEN DEL PROYECTO

Objective:
– bring together Higher Education and the Socio-economic world in North Africa
– consolidate the Triangle of Knowledge and Innovation

Expected results and dissemination:

Beyond developing knowledge, the University has an important role to play in the economic development and employability of the students they have taught, in particular PhD students that produce scientific results for the University and who can be a source of innovation and generate jobs. However, in several North African Universities, the lack of infrastructure dedicated to Innovation and Technology Transfer or, when it exists, the need to consolidate its position in the Innovation chain ecosystem, is creating a fundamental problem in the world race for Innovation and University performance. This is particularly pressing as the needs of businesses in terms of support for innovation are developing. In answer to this, the SATELIT project offers solutions locally (reinforcing skills and the exchange of good practices), nationally (the modernisation of national programmes) and on a regional scale (polarising Education and Innovation) by mobilising the driving forces.

RESUMEN DEL PROYECTO

Objective: Con el objetivo de mejorar la puesta en valor de la formación y la experiencia adquiridas en la Universidad, de promover la orientación, la movilidad y la formación durante toda la vida, y de permitir que las empresas tengan una mejor visibilidad de las competencias de los egresados, el proyecto propone implementar en las instituciones marroquíes asociadas el enfoque y la herramienta “E-portfolio”.

El origen de la idea del proyecto surge de la constatación de un déficit en términos de comunicación y de formatos accesibles que permitan al estudiante poner en valor sus experiencias y desarrollar su identidad digital (e-reputación), de carencias en la gobernanza de las universidades a la hora de desarrollar su visibilidad digital, y de dificultades en las empresas para acceder mejor a las habilidades de los estudiantes y egresados.

En primer lugar, se realizará un diagnóstico de lo existente en las instituciones socias europeas que permitirá identificar las mejores prácticas conocidas y reconocidas. Sobre esta base, y después de un estudio de las necesidades del contexto marroquí, se programarán acciones de transferencia de conocimientos, habilidades y formación de personal. Estas acciones formativas estarán apoyadas por actividades paralelas encaminadas al reconocimiento profesional tanto por las instituciones universitarias como por el mundo socioeconómico.

La herramienta “eportfolio”, diseñada a través de un enfoque de red, sera desarrollada por equipos mixtos, implementada y luego evaluada. Este dispositivo técnico que se integrará en el sistema de información de las instituciones beneficiarias deberá garantizar la coherencia y la integridad del enfoque “eportafolio”.

La mayor parte del proyecto se centrará en la sensibilización, la formación sobre la importancia del enfoque “eportafolio”, el desarrollo y la implementación técnica, buscando tanto el reconocimiento por parte del Ministerio de supervisión como por los representantes del tejido socioeconómico.
Expected results and dissemination: Para garantizar la sostenibilidad del proyecto, se establecerán las bases para el establecimiento de una comisión nacional encargada de la supervisión, evaluación y actualización de los recursos y procedimientos desarrollados.
Tras el establecimiento de la plataforma “eportfolio”, servirá de recurso a explotar por las Universidades marroquíes, asegurando la buena gobernanza de las ofertas de formación de estudiantes y egresados de cada Universidad.

EL proyecto pretende un importante impacto en los intercambios entre los distintos usuarios de la plataforma: Estudiantes, profesores, servicio de Interfaz de las Universidades, responsables de RR.HH. en empresas, etc. A la finalización del proyecto, se mejorarán las relaciones entre representantes socio-económicos y los estudiantes. Gracias a la mayor visibilización de las competencias del contenido de su carrera académica, prácticas o proyectos de estudios de estos estudiantes, su nivel de empleabilidad se estima mejore considerablemente.
